Today, I had the time to check out the General Electric GE GFSS6KKYSS 36 25.9 cu. ft. fench door refrigerator at a friend’s house. She had it delivered and we had to hook up the water line. Overall, I was very impressed by the design of the fridge. He bought it for around $1.800 online which I couldn’t believe at first.
Hooking it up to the water pipe was a quick task to do. We’ve encountered a strange taste taking the first gulp of water from the dispenser. At first we thought there was something wrong with the refrigerator’s pipes. We’ve let it run into a bucket for 10 minutes to get it out of the system but still the same taste. Ordered a replacement filter from Amazon and finally got rid of that taste. We haven’t figured out what it was about that filter but we’ve noticed the filter smelled the same way it tasted.
